The Afends Hemp Revolution

Afends documentary, 'The Hemp Revolution’, explores the modern day hemp industry - it’s sustainable & ecological qualities, as well as the (unfounded) taboo and stigma surrounding its use. Why do petroleum based products have a monopoly on most industries, when there are much more sustainable materials that we should be using?

There may be a lot of conspiracies surrounding hemp and its uses, but there’s no denying the fact that the fashion industry is one of the most damaging industries in the world and we all need work towards un-doing the damage we’ve done, before it’s too late.

CUC Racing Shell Eco Marathon

This is a short video showing a 9 month project taken on by some of my peers on Sustainable Product Design at Falmouth University. The aim was to experiment with new materials and make their prototype vehicle as sustainable as possible by replacing the usual harmful materials used for the body work such as carbon fiber and fiberglass with far more biodegradable materials such as coconut husk and bio based resins.

Not many people embody the true spirit of California the way Jared Mell does. With an outlook on life so laid back it's practically horizontal and a carefree approach to surfing which oozes class and style, Jared has forged his own way of life.

Unbroken Ground

Unbroken Grounds is a film by Patagonia which explains the critical role food will play in the next frontier of our efforts to solve the environmental crisis. It explores four areas of agriculture that aim to change our relationship to the land and oceans. Most of our food is produced using methods that reduce biodiversity, decimate soil and contribute to climate change. We believe our food can and should be a part of the solution to the environmental crisis – grown, harvested and produced in ways that restore our land, water and wildlife. The film tells the story of four groups that are pioneers in the fields of regenerative agriculture, regenerative grazing, diversified crop development and restorative fishing.
